The "Blake" Plaid made for a fun pop-over top to wear back to black leggings with boots or a favorite pair of jeans. The flannel is on the heavy side so I recommend you keep that in mind when considering a project for this fabric. I chose to sew this over-sized tunic style and make it more interesting by turning some of the pieces on the bias (diagonal). I hope my project inspires you to try out this super-soft 100% cotton flannel. This project required 2 1/3 yards.(this top is very over-sized)
Not up to an advanced project? Try making a scarf. Just cut a long strip approx. two yards long by 20" wide. (two yards will yield two scarves, one for you and one for a lucky friend)
I like to make a raw edge fringe by cutting slits about 1/2" apart by 1 inch in depth. Once you wash and dry the piece, you have a great looking winter scarf.
Happy sewing! #plaidflannel #flannel #tunic #morrisseyfabric
