This unusual piece is only for someone that can use a thread bare cloth for display as a throw, cut into framed textile art, or textile design inspiration. This is not suitable for pillows or upholstery as it is too fragile.
Unusual embroidery details in bright color threads.

This vintage fabric comes from Cote d'Ivoire, (Ivory Cost of Africa).
Hand crafted cotton that is one-of-a-kind. Both length ends have softer hand made fringe details.
I have gentle-washed with a delicate textile soap so it's ready for use.
***As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this African baule cloth has areas of heavy wear as shown in photos. The fabric has a soft faded appearance.
100% cotton with rayon embroidery.
