Cleaned and ready to use. Lovely and soft, this deep indigo blue mud cloth has lightly frayed braided fringe at both length ends.

This textile is a very clean vintage throw with a soft drape rather than a stiff denim feel.
There is a repair that was done on one corner. Hand stitching is for the visible mending craft.
Note that the strips of cloth are sewn by hand, not machine. This adds to the history and character of the cloth.
Including the fringe: Measures 77 inches long x 26 inches wide.
Measures 60 inches if you do not include the fringe.
This mud cloth indigo is in good vintage condition with areas of dark and light fading.
***As with many vintage materials this has some fraying at the fringe from wear over the years.

Another beauty! Anita has a wonderful eye for selecting the best quality textiles, and they always arrive nice and clean. Having purchased several through the years, I’ve learned to appreciate Anita’s artistic skill with mending! She intuitively knows when to “restore,” and when to leave in original condition. I especially like the vintage pieces that include well-placed patches with added embroidery stitches. Simply lovely!!
