Yoruban Aso Oke vintage textile is ready to use for pillows, framed for wall art, or how about a market bag?
This vintage African Fabric has eyelet holes and surface loops for a decorative effect. It is made from several narrow strips of cloth stitched together to make one wider cloth.
Woven stripes of white, with beige plus dark caramel/soft brown strips with accents of gold rayon/silk details.
This Aso Oke is in good vintage condition.
Measures: 72 inches long x 22 to 23 inches wide
Has a starchy, crisp hand. As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this cloth has wear-n-tear. There are some strips with water-spotting as seen in photos.
