Large pieces of vintage African mud cloth fabric samples. These are called Aso Oke. From Yoruba, Africa.
You will receive a textile from each stack as seen in the group photo. Two will measure 12” X 24”!!
Shades of taupe, brown, burgundy, and natural, and some gold lurex.
Unique hand made tribal patterns. Perfect for framing, patchwork, pillows, and more. I thoroughly clean each African textile prior to cutting but some have wear or spots and staining that did not come out with cleaning.
Patterns and sizes vary due to hand-made process.
Measurements range from 4”x 36” to 12”x24” strips. These are good workable scraps.
Each lot contains 6 large pieces of authentic African Aso Oke.
*Each lot is unique so you may not receive exactly the same pieces in the photo but sizes and colors will be the same.
*These remnant textiles have typical rustic traits such as slubs of cotton, slight bleeding of color, and loosely woven areas.
100% hand loomed cotton textiles
Dry clean recommended to preserve the color.
