African Mud Cloth, washed and ready to use. This is an Authentic natural cotton mud cloth with a tribal print in deep bright orange. This is not a rust color) The mud cloth fabric is an unbleached natural ivory/white. Can be used as a throw or cut to be made into pillow covers.
Also called Bogolan, this fabric is made of strips of hand-loomed cotton, from Mali Africa.
This is a new piece so there is no wear and tear. The ends are raw edges.
As with all hand crafted pieces, this may have several imperfections such as cotton slubs, reconnected strips of cloth, fraying at the ends, and other signs evident with small-batch creations. But this is what makes it special.

The mud cloth has a very rich color that reminds me of the tropics. Mango is the perfect name for this piece. It is simply stunning. I also like the care in which it was packaged. It gave me the feeling the person that prepared it for shipment, really cares about fabric.
