This is a new mud cloth piece so there is no wear and tear. Excellent condition. Ends are raw cut and will fray if washed. The color is dark gray on a natural oyster cotton mud cloth. One of a kind from Mali, Africa.
As with all hand crafted pieces, this may have imperfections such as cotton slubs, reconnected strips of cloth, fraying at the ends, and other signs evident with small-batch creations. But this is what makes it a unique piece of textile art.
