Beautiful vintage indigo textile from Africa reimagined with embroidery patches, hand made in my California studio.
One of a kind piece with areas of light to medium fading. Nice sturdy mud cloth textile with many hand embroidered patches all done in pure cotton. This is known as visible mending as the patches disguise holes or damaged with decorative hand work.
This is not a perfect indigo but great for someone who loves rustic and weathered denim. Soft enough to make into pillows, display on the wall, or use on the foot of a bed. This textile has been thoroughly cleaned and mended. This is a dense denim cloth like a pair of jeans.
Length with fringe measures 82”/84” inches x 17 1/2 inches wide.
100% cotton, hand washable with care, gentle machine wash, or dry clean.
