Beautifully faded vintage African Indigo that’s truly an incredible collectors piece.
These very light textiles have become nearly impossible to find. Plus this required several days of soaking and hours of hand mending to get into top vintage condition. One of a kind with frayed fringe.

This is not a perfect indigo but great for someone who loves super faded denim. A very rare African textile like this is best used on the foot of a bed or draped over a chair or sofa.
This textile has been thoroughly cleaned but still has history evident in the cloth.
Length with fringe measures 82 inches x 44 inches wide. Not including the fringe the body is 74 to 76 inches long.
100% cotton, gentle machine wash, or dry clean.

Anita, I just took this out very carefully from the tissue paper and unfolded it. I see why you gave me a discount. I really appreciate it! I think i just have to Be very careful with it. i was going to wear it as a shawl but I bet you would Say don’t because the fringe could get caught on something and then snag. If I am smart i probably should just use it on my sofa or bed! L O L! What do You think? I would love your advice! I love this and don’t regret my purchase At all. Sincerely, Sue
