Yoruban Aso Oke vintage textile that’s ready to use for pillows, framed for wall art, accessories, etc.
This vintage African Fabric has eyelet holes and surface loops for a decorative effect. It is made from several narrow strips of cloth stitched together to make one wider cloth.
Woven in a warm beige with white stripes plus rust color rayon/silk details.
This Aso Oke is in fair vintage condition.
***please examine photos as one of the textiles has several torn spots at one end plus some tiny holes.
The other two textiles have some tiny holes that measure less than 1/4 inch.
These areas can all be worked around.
Measures: 77 inches long x 14 inches wide.
Has a crisp hand. As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this cloth has wear-n-tear. There are some strips with very light water-spotting as seen in photos.
