Antique African Kuba Cloth: Rustic and full of character this is a well-worn textile that retains true beauty and intricate abstract designs. One of a kind, woven and stitched by hand. Beautiful warm shades of natural brown, black, and golden raffia fiber. This antique textile is made from many contrasting patches joined to make one larger Kuba cloth.
***Please note there are several stains appropriate for the age of this Kuba cloth. This reflects the history of this piece of fiber art. There are also a couple of burn holes at one end that are shown in a photo closeup.

Kuba Textiles come from the Congo. Kuba cloth panels are handwoven using the leaves of the Raffia plant.
