Classic indigo blue with pink stripes and light blue with white ikat pattern and fringe. Simple embroidery details in bright color threads.
This vintage fabric comes from Cote d'Ivoire, (Ivory Coast of Africa).
Hand crafted cotton and each is one-of-a-kind. Both length ends have softer hand made fringe details.
I have gentle-washed with a delicate textile soap so it's ready for use.
***As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this African baule cloth has light wear-n-tear but overall very good clean condition. The fabric has a soft hand.
***some of the seams may separate due to the construction of strip cloth. This is considered normal wear for these vintage textiles.
