Mudcloth Fabric throw, Authentic vintage African Baule cloth: Use as a throw, make pillows, use for apparel, or repurpose into almost anything.
This listing is for the textile at the top left of the photo in the picture with multiple textiles.
A blend of dark blue and light yellow pinstripes plus larger dark yellow stripes. Simple ikat pattern and fringe. Small embroidery details in bright color threads.
This vintage fabric comes from Cote d'Ivoire, (Ivory Coast of Africa).
Hand crafted cotton and each is one-of-a-kind. Both length ends have soft hand made fringe details.
I have gentle-washed with a delicate textile soap so it's ready for use.
***As with many vintage textiles that have been in use, this African baule cloth has light wear-n-tear but overall good clean condition with one small hole and a couple of light stains shown in photos.
***some of the seams may separate due to the construction of strip cloth. This is considered normal wear for these vintage textiles.
