Vintage denim textile, African fabric. Lovely faded piece that’s great to display for rustic home decor.
This is a classic textile that is nice and clean. It has a few small holes shown in the photos. Many of the seams have been repaired over the life of this textile giving a lot of history and visible mending to the textile.
Resist-dyed stripes were created by hand with a shibori tie dyed stripes.
Including the fringe: Measures 88 inches long x 25 1/2 inches wide. Not including the fringe this textile is 83 inches long.
This mud cloth indigo is in good vintage condition. one corner is missing fringe.
***As with many vintage textiles, this has several imperfections such as repaired seams, fraying at the ends and sides.
100% cotton.
