Vintage Guatemalan Fabric with hand embroidery on navy blue plaid. This authentic Corte Textile has lovely rainbow color water jugs embroidered on yarn dyed blue and white plaid. From San Pedro Sacatepequez.
This cloth is great for pillows, bed covering, upholstery or can be used like a picnic blanket or poolside throw. Also heavy enough to make market bags or accessories.
This vintage Guatemalan fabric is washed and ready to use. It's heavier weight, like denim. The weight is approx. 10 oz. This hand crafted cloth is 100 inches long x 42.5 inches wide. (Like a very large beach towel)
There is one embroidery stripe (.75 inch wide) that runs through the center, and one embroidery stripe that runs across/selvedge to selvedge. This detail is called a randa.
