Beautiful vintage African Textile, Tribal celebration mud cloth. One of a kind and gorgeous! Butterscotch color cotton with pink, blue, turquoise, yellow, and orange tribal designs woven into the cloth. It's NOT printed on top. The dealer I purchased this from was not certain of the origin country, but it is from Western Africa.
This is a conversational vintage African cloth with a great pattern. Very artistic global style. Works back to many decor types like Eclectic, and Boho.
Heavy enough for upholstery use, but would need reinforcing at hand sewn seams. Beautiful for pillow covers or bags. Display as a decorative wall hanging. Use as a throw.
This piece is in very good vintage condition and makes a statement! There are some dark markings here and there, but this adds to the authenticity of the hand made vintage textile.
