Guatemalan Huipil (Blouse). Stunning collector's treasure textile!
This textile is not stitched closed on the sides so it measures 51.5 inches long x 33.5 inches across when open. The decorative portion of this huipile has a total length of 34 inches with a center neckline opening.
Authentic bird patterns in the weave.
Hang this vintage Guatemalan blouse with a wood pole as wall decor. Great for pillows or upholstery too!
This Guatemalan fabric is in very good vintage condition.
Neckline has a rhinestone trim that can easily be removed if wanted.
Unfinished at length ends. See photos for back side of cloth and the amazing knotting required when woven.
I recommend dry cleaning.
