This mud cloth is new and in very good hand-crafted condition.
Cut into pillow covers for a soft global style statement.
Heavy enough to use as a throw, or bed scarf. You could upholster a head board or make several tote bags.
Hand crafted mud cloth has been hand dyed pink so each is slightly different. Heavy strips of textured hand-loomed cotton, from Mali Africa are zig zag stitch joined to make a large cloth.
The ends are raw edges.
This piece has been crafted using a hand-print technique.
As with all hand made mud cloth, this may have several imperfections such as cotton slubs, missed or smudged print, reconnected strips of cloth, and other signs evident with small-batch creations. But this is what makes it so special.
