Antique Oriental rug in a rich deep red. Hand knotted wool and silk. Perfectly imperfect, this rug has visible mending. This piece has a very tight, dense weave along with several repairs done over its lifetime of use. This is a lovely accent rug for a modern farmhouse, traditional, or Boho style space. The size is roughly 5 feet x 2 feet 6 inches so it could work as a wall hanging or used on the floor.
This is a dense, low pile accent rug hand woven on a standing loom. It was not mass produced. The hand made traits are what give this unique rug its character.
The colors range from deep berry red, navy blues, and burgundies. The ends are a ivory color. All naturally dyed fibers.
This unique carpet makes a great layering rug. Rustic look that is completely hand crafted. Certainly works for a global design, but also can fit in a Southwestern or midcentury space.
