African Kuba Cloth: Raffia decorative textile perfect for a table runner or wall hanging.
Dimensions: 115 inches long 20 inches wide.
This rare Ngongo or Ngeende tie dyed/stitch resist raffia is a lighter weight than the other Kuba cloths in my shop because there is no appliqué. Instead, a tie-dye and resist technique creates the patterned decoration. All hand made and one-of-a-kind. This is a hard-to-find Ndongo Tribe tie-dyed Textile.
These hand made raffia textiles are excellent accents for mid-century modern decor, Junglalow style decor, or a Global/African-themed space. This size is grand enough to use as a table runner, hang on a wall as a headboard or wall art, or, dare I suggest, cut into pillow covers or multiple wall hangings.
Kuba textiles come from the Congo. This vintage African cloth comes from the Ngongo people of the Kuba confederation. They were used as currency as well as tribal offerings.

I do not accept returns or exchanges due to the nature of vintage textiles. There may be spots, marks, color variations, smudges, lose strings, frays, and/or patches on a textile. While they add to the authentic nature of the product, please review all the photographs before the purchase.
